Dame Bernier grew up on a farm, and quickly developed an affinity and
relationship with the animals there. But when she came of age, she left
for the city, finding jobs in offices quickly learning accounting and
typing.
A refugee from the early days of the French retaliation against the
perceived threat of Telepaths and the furor over the recently lost war.
Escaping with outside help, she made her way to England and was quickly
hired by Lord Baker as a research, organizer, librarian, and field
operative. In her short term with the Preternatural Advancement Society,
her skills have grown. Meanwhile her countries attitude is settling down,
and she hopes to eventually be able to go back home.
In the meantime, Lord Baker is a kind employer, and it does make her
feel useful to be helping others that have had a bad time because of the
spore ailments. Thanks to
Lord Baker, she is well dressed, and frequently accompanies him and others
on various efforts. Her
unusual animal related abilities have become handy from time to time, and
her telepathy is quite strong. Frequently
she is called upon to add her power to other telepaths…
