Background	Formerly a researcher working on developing an electronic system for storing information in the thirties, he developed electrical and force field powers presumably caused by a major shock he received on the job. He joined the ranks of the early protectors of Paragon City for the better part of a year, back in their pre-spandex days. Then he broke up a spy ring that were in the process of setting up their own little base to run raids using mechanical men powered by a prototype broadcast generator. He stopped them while they were still putting the mechanical monstrosities together. But one last thug turned on the generator and let it run wild. The Blue Rook attempted to stop it, with electricity arcing across his fields. Then a flash. He awoke in a hospital in 2004. The generator and his own field had intersected creating a time warp - flinging him into the present. Now recovering from a 2 week coma, he is slowly recovering his lost powers and is learning more about this topsy-turvy future world with every day.
Notes	This was an attempt to make a retro character - a kind of golden age hero and bring him into the game despite the standard City of Heroes background. Its also a way to get a version of Shieldwall on to the Virtue server. He's been quite fun to play, especially after making contact with several regular players of the game in The Dark Blade supergroup - Spellbynder, Weather Front, as well as a real loose cannon, Alecto Gunn. 1/28 - Very active with this guy. Has only did one Task force and that didn't go well -- see the Task Force Cyclone entries on the blog for details. Now that he has single origin enhancements in most of his force fields he can help any team REALLY stand up to some major stuff. He's got both Stamina and Health now which is a godsend. And he's added repulsive Force Fields to his powers. Has been involved with some Winter Lord hunts of late, but not to the level of Fast Neutrino. He has spotted the Ghost ship in Talos. His missions are starting to get really odd -- Council instance missions, Freakshow/Family combos, etc. He's quite active in the group and you'll see me on the supergroup website a BlueRook a lot... Currently Rook has seen less play - mainly because he shines as a teamed individual and teaming doesn't always happen. I'm not sure what will happen to him...
