| Background | Greg Connors was a Physics
Major student at Paragon City University. There on a scholarship
he did several odd jobs to supplement his funds as his schedule
permitted. That is how he found himself in the Science Building
one fateful night working as a janitor. He heard a commotion in
one of the labs, the Research lab housing the Particle
Accelerator. He had never heard it making the sounds there.
And he heard voices of panic inside. He reached the door to the
lab just as an explosion occurred. He awoke in the hospital
several days later - the sole survivor of the incident.
Several weeks later his powers developed. He quickly explored them and felt that he could join the ranks of heroes in Paragon City. He was motivated because of a personal. event. Weeks before his sister, a high school junior, had disappeared coming home from school. A police investigation had resulted in no leads and she was missing. His parents were in shambles -- especially after thinking for a while they might lose him as well. So he has set out, keeping an ear and eye open for clues, and showing his sister's picture around. His efforts have been fruitful - learning from his efforts versus the Winter Lord with others. He has reached security level 20 in RECORD time. |
| Notes | This is a replacement for
Crimson-King. I found it stalled out. Perhaps because of the
way that he had been socketed, as well as some of his other
choices. But also I wanted to try something different.
I like Radiation blast as a power, as I learned with Shieldwall on Infinity. Virtue is however my current Server of choice - and I'm doing 90+% of my gaming there. But on that server I did not have a Radiation Defender, I started him on Martin Luther King's day which I had off, after deleting Crimson-King. I played him up to about level 7 in one session. Then the next session I walked into Perez with 3 hunt missions and see a whole slew of people attacking a Winter Lord. This led to being invited to a team. We leveled SO fast on Winter Lord kills that by the time he finally fell he was level 12! He leveled up all those levels in one fell swoop, and returned to Perez and continued on. By the time he was finished - He was level 17 after a 3.5 hour hunt. As he grew he became very fun to play, but cumbersome to keep updated as enhancements would QUICKLY go out of date. His third session got him involved with a brief Winter Lord hunt in King's Row where he was noticed by one Dr. Tempest of S.E.R.A.P.H Team One. He did a mission against the Tsoo there in King's Row and was invited to apply to the group. That Mission allowed him to reach level 18. He got Inertial Reduction at that point, something the King had never tried. Which is VERY fun to give to others a temporary super leap. Low level characters LOVE it! After that he was on briefly and called in for an interview with 4 members of the Team. As I write this, it was last night that I got on with him again. More Winter Lord hunting in the likes of Boomtown, Faultline, and finally Perez. He ended up leveling to 20 that night and obtained his first Fitness power. Then he journeyed to Brickstown where he was side-kicked to the Team Leader Lightweight - a 33rd level Gravity/Kinetic Controller. Although we didn't fair too well against a level 35/36 Council Ambush, we managed to succeed. Next up was a timed Council mission that took us well over an hour to complete. It was fun to play with Lightweight -- My Speed Boost was helping his Endurance recovery as was his to me. Keeping each other boosted made for, using Transfusion for 204 pt Heals (Just under double my usual amount.). We had one bit of trouble with the named boss, but succeeded in the end. After its conclusion Fast Neutrino was added to the supergroup. Somehow I see myself bouncing between Blue Rook and Fast Neutrino a lot. Update: This character has become one of the most fun to play, and has surpassed Yankee Fighter in level, becoming my CHIEF character. |
