GURPS has always been one of my favorite games.  Unlike the Mayfair Exponential Game System used by the old DC Heroes and now Pulsar Games Inc.’s Blood of Heroes, it is better suited for more traditional genres - I’ve used it for fantasy, psionic, horror, post-holocaust, science-fiction, and super-heroes as well as some unusual combinations.   It can make more detailed characters than the MEGS, albeit usually less powerful in the standard super-heroes campaigns. It touts itself as being more "real" even though given some of the subject matter utilized, that is a little bit of a misnomer...  There are several world books, but usually on the main book is needed.  If you are running a Supers game, the Supers and Psionic books are both suggested.  If magic comes into play, the Magic and Grimoire books are recommended.

Presented here are some notes and characters from my various campaigns.
