| Background | A brilliant by somewhat eccentric scientist
was dying from an incurable form of cancer. He decided to take on
a final project to leave something behind. He attempted to salvage
an advanced robot recovered by Portal Corporation on an otherwise barren
world, ravaged by a world that apparently was involved in a temporal
war. The robot was in sorry shape, and thought by others a lost
cause.
One by one he repaired the robots systems, enough to determine it was an unarmed non-lethal warrior in the time war with technology centuries off. He finally got some of its own automatic repair systems working and the robot reactivated. Its mind was barely there - almost childlike, and most of its memories were gone, though its original programming in various unarmed combats seemed to be there. When death finally came to the scientist, the robot was put into a dilemma. It wanted to preserve life, but couldn't heal the wounds of the doctor. It judged the man good, and couldn't stand by and let him die. So before his death, he recorded an imprint of the doctors mind on its own circuits, allowing the doctor's mind to take over the robotic body. Is the Professor an amalgam of the two? Or the Doctor with a new lease on life? Who knows - but the results of his actions have been welcomed eagerly by Paragon City. |
| Notes | He was my major character in June, but has seen a little lull. Part of it is due to leveling beyond some contacts and having a arch-villain mission that I've not been able to clear. The shutdown of the group forum site due to spammers also affected his activity level. I also had LOTS of luck with picture taking and comic covers with him... :) |
