06/30/2005 09:01 PM Mutants and Masterminds is a new game from Green Ronin. It is a D20 system, and has started to grow on me. Characters are made on 150 points (assuming a starting Level 10 character). I've gotten started on developing characters for a game, and have recently made contact with some new gamers. UPDATE: Check out the Excel based M&M Character builder <HERE> The following pages have been updated or added, accordingly! If you play M&M I highly recommend this as the following character sheets will suggest. Analogue - (This is an M&M rendition of a DCH character I made for a PBEM game that never went anywhere several years ago.) A shape changer who can become almost anything he desires, except his original form. Not because he's incapable, but because he is legally barred from doing so. Cosmos - Imbued with cosmic energies after a tragic accident involving research into a new form of nuclear energy, this individual tries to do his best to continue on. (After seeing some faults with the above design, this is an attempt to make a new alternate character for the game -- but he was not put into play - Ghost Dragon was. I later redesigned him as an NPC for my Freedom City Campaign) Ghost Dragon - Essentially an attempt to meta-up a martial-artist - Another contender for the same campaign. First attempt at using super stats and some of the various fighting oriented feats - He's been revised from the original SHOP origin for the Freedom City campaign I've been running. Violet - A character I made for my Wife when she wanted to join the group - an archeologist turned Sorceress. My main RPG group wants to me to run a D20 system game - and this is it. They wanted to have mystical characters - kind of a Spawn like origin, even if not all the same type of characters. I'm hoping for normal level 10 characters, but we might have to bump that to PL12 because of at least one concept. My wife may even get involved; I've already toyed with making a sorcery-based character for her. That would make 4 player characters so far. A fifth would be possibly welcome. This would be for a Saturday game starting around 2 to 3 o'clock at Xavian Games and Comics. I hope to start this the first weekend in May - assuming we get all the characters together in the next week... |
