His build makes him appear somewhat thin, and thus is somewhat deceptive, as he can easily lift something like a car.  He also can take a great deal of punishment.

Background:

Seth  never saw the ball of energy hit him the day of the NeoTek disaster.

He was a student in elementary school at the time.  He had been excused to go to the bathroom, and remembers a flash of light, nothing more.  However he'd always been the smallest of his class, and at the following recess a bully started picking on him as usual, and lightly punched him like he had usually done, but this time Seth had barely felt it.  Encouraged by this, Seth stood his ground.  The bully tried to push him, and found that he couldn't push Seth back an inch.  Then out of embarrassed frustration the bully tried to punch Seth in the face.  It didn't hurt – hurt Seth that is.  The bully recoiled, his hand obviously broken.  Seth would have gotten into trouble had not a teacher witnessed the event from across the schoolyard, unable to intervene.  Seth didn't know what had happened, but he liked it.  That bully wouldn’t pick on him again, and he hadn’t lifted a finger.

It wasn't long before it was news all over the schoolyard, and then after the nightly news, it was clear that Seth had been one of the lucky ones.  It did affect some schoolyard friendships; some were encouraged while others ended in fear.  The next few days at recess, he proved to be more agile and stronger than anyone else in school.  It raised some concerns when he was able to lift a car up to retrieve a ball.  Over the next few weeks, the school had to adapt; they couldn't deny him an education, but it was clear that he was so strong that he could easily hurt another student accidentally.   So he was carefully monitored during physical education classes and recesses, and not allowed in any contact sports, or any games where he could propel a ball into anyone.   There were some complaints, and some legal cases came up around his childhood, when he wasn't allowed to join in.

Seth didn't let any of it get him down.  He was having fun.  His parents had to admonish him constantly for taking chances.  He could take chances another boy wouldn't and even if he failed, he'd survive.   He'd jump things on his bicycle and always come out unscathed, even if his clothes and bike did not.

During his Junior year of high school, attending a game at another school, he ran into another metahuman for the first time.  He had always had a sense for people around him, knowing where they were.  But this person was different.   He followed the boy, about his age, around to the back of the stadium, and was surprised to see the boy walk through the wall.   For a moment he'd thought he might have seen a ghost, but realized not.  He had sensed him.  That kid must be a meta too! And could walk through walls.  That was neat.  Then he felt a tingle as he got to the wall the kid had gone through.   And found he could put his hand through.  He followed on it to find a surprised young lad.  He was puzzled and then smiled, however it took them several minutes to figure out what had happened.  At first the other boy had thought Seth could phase through stuff too.  Seth thought the boy had done something to the wall.  When the realized that neither was the case, they realized Seth was a power mimicker of some kind.  The other boy had some air walking and invisibility abilities, and once demonstrated Seth had them too, at least for a little while.  They had some fun that night, and parted as good friends, trading phone numbers and addresses so they could keep in touch.

By the time he graduated high school, he'd led an unusual career.  He wasn't a meta-scholar, and was unable to play in most sports activities, save some track and gymnastic events, and even there he found resistance to having any scores or achievements counted with other normal students.  Realizing this, he searched for a meta-friendly school.  He found one, learning to adapt and use powers of other students he didn't normally have, becoming used to them,  refining them.  He could only mimic a power for around 4 and a half hours, but he could do about a dozen at once.

The coursework was unusual – most metahumans were going in for Civil Operative work, and the requirements were somewhat vague.  His training is thus general, and a large part physical.

Now fresh out of school, he is ready to pursue a career as a CMO.  He's studied his teammates and is ready to draw off of them for powers he may need.  And he is always on the lookout for another metahuman from which he may need to draw on.

Personality:

Surprisingly cheerful and willing to be a part of a team.  He seems more open around metahumans especially those that grew up with their powers, than he is with normals.  He is a little reserved with using force against normals, and usually pulls punches.  On the other hand, someone who looks normal and is actually a metahuman rarely fools him; as a result he's something of the teams meta-sniffer when it comes to finding rogue metahumans.  He likes his role, and adapts.  Despite the problems his powers have caused him over the years, he loves the feel of them and wouldn't give them up for the world.  He's not a glory hound, but his power copying abilities usually give him such a wide scope that frequently he does attract attention.   It tends to make him a wild card, and does give the team a range of tactics they wouldn't otherwise have.  His youth, as one of the youngest members of the team, does come into play on occasion, but only rarely.  He is willing to learn, and eager to make a name for himself.   His abilities do make him a strong asset of the group.

Note: This character can mimic up to his APs in various powers whether drawn from friend or foe.  Because of this, someone should play this character that has experience in the MEGS rules.  It would possibly slow down the gaming event if every power had to be explained when duplicated.
